I am a teacher and artist at heart. After graduating with a Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood, I devoted my life to the education and care of young children for many years.
My love for adventure has taken me around the world, from teaching in a school in Cambodia to cutting cane for elephants in Thailand. I have loved visits to France, Poland, and Italy, but when home in Australia, I mostly enjoy gardening, camping trips with family and playing “pit crew” to my husband when he is motor racing. The beach and the racetrack are two of my favourite places.
Adventure and art go hand in hand for me. I love exploring different art mediums, making sculptures and mosaics. When I can, I volunteer at art festivals and get involved in community and social work, through various projects.
My goal for my stories is to bring joy and stimulate the excitement, awe and wonder children can experience everyday by using their imaginations. I hope my books will be a starting point to initiate play and learning between adults and children over the world.
